I started shooting weddings by accident. I kept shooting them because I fell in love with the work.
A cold call shortly after graduating college landed me in an odd temp job of editing other people's wedding videos. It was strange. I never met the folks, but I knew every detail about their wedding day. A couple years later I get a call from an old friend looking for a photographer at her wedding in the mountains. "Yeah, I know a little something about those." And off I went! I found a new venue to make images that will be treasured and framed, and I was hooked.

I put an emphasis on portraiture in my work. The time we spend taking portraits together will yield frame-worthy images you'll come back to year after year. It is my favorite part of the wedding day. It is the one part of the day the rest of the party doesn't see, and then we can wow them later with some stunning portraits.

Outdoor weddings are my happy place. The landscape inspires me every day, and making art outside is the perfect synthesis of things that I love. I specialize in photographing small weddings in the mountains and plains of Colorado, but I am always willing to travel!
